1. What is the difference between the Shot Scope G5 and the Shot Scope X5?
The X5 is a touchscreen watch designed for everyday wear as well as a golf performance tracking watch, the G5 is purely golf focused and does not offer performance tracking. The G5 also allows users to change their style with interchangeable straps and uses buttons for navigation rather than a touchscreen
2. How do I change the color of the G5 strap?
To change the color of the strap, simply slide the bar underneath the strap to release the bar that holds the strap in place. Then, with your chosen strap for the day, retract the bar and slide the strap into the watch case before releasing the bar. There are two notches that the bar will snap into, your strap is now secure.
3. How easy is it to set up the G5 GPS watch?
The G5 GPS watch is easy to set up, you have two options. Quickly set up the watch before you play by selecting the time and then moving on to your game. Alternatively, using the free Shot Scope app, the watch is easily set up through your mobile device. Both options are very quick, but we always recommend using the mobile app with your watch to get the most out of your GPS watch.
4. Will my local course be preloaded onto the golf watch?
With 36,000 courses preloaded onto the G5, we are confident that your course will be loaded onto the watch. However, if you find that your course is not mapped, just ask. This will notify our internal mapping team and we will update the route within 48 hours, there is no charge for route mapping.
